My name is Kaysca. I have been falling deeper and deeper into a shame spiral since I can remember. It helps to leave my body. No one ever even notices that I am not here… not really here anyway. That’s really all I’ve got to say...so anyway.

When a child feels shame, a deep wound is created. Shame is the belief that you, yourself, are bad. And because of that belief, the child doesn’t even feel they have the right to exist. When people try to show love, they reject it because they feel so unworthy.
